Job Summary:

A Pet Food Extruder Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the extrusion equipment used in the production of pet food.

Key responsibilities include:

Setting up, operating, and monitoring the extruder to ensure product quality and consistency. Loading ingredients into the extruder and adjusting settings based on recipes and production schedules. Troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Monitoring product quality and making adjustments as needed to meet specifications. Maintaining accurate records of production data and equipment performance. Assist with daily cleaning and sanitizing machinery and production areas to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment. Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications & Skills:

The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing Strong mechanical aptitude The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
