New Market Poultry is seeking individuals to join our production team in a fast-paced poultry processing environment. Employees may perform a variety of tasks related to processing, packaging, weighing, palletizing, and preparing poultry products for shipment while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and workplace safety. Key responsibilities may include rehanging poultry products onto production lines, grading and sorting products, packing poultry into boxes, operating scales and packaging equipment, applying product labels, operating CVP sealing machines, adding ice or CO₂ to finished products, palletizing and stacking products, assembling boxes, lining boxes with bags, and operating cutting equipment such as mechanical saws. This position requires the ability to work efficiently in a production environment while maintaining attention to detail, quality standards, and safety procedures. Employees must demonstrate good personal hygiene and comply with all company policies as well as local, state, and federal food safety regulations. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to maintain focus and concentration in a fast-paced environment. Ability to safely lift and handle products weighing up to 80 pounds.
