Smokehouse Operator Details:

Temp-to-Hire position $21.00 to $23.00 /hour Full Time work available Weekend work required Third Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00pm to 03:30am) Set up and operate smokehouse machinery, load and transfer meat products, and monitor temperature, humidity, smoking times, and airflow to ensure proper processing. Inspect products for quality and consistency, record processing data, and follow HACCP, USDA, FDA, GMP, and company food safety standards. Clean and sanitize equipment, perform routine equipment checks, report issues, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals while following safety policies.

Smokehouse Operator Qualifications:

Ability to operate and troubleshoot smokehouse equipment; forklift experience and basic computer skills preferred. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures. Reliable team player with strong communication skills and work ethic, able to perform in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and read and write basic English or Spanish.
