Scrap Cutter
•1st Shift, No Weekends Located in
Hudson, Wisconsin Pay:
$19/hr

•Friday (8:00am
•4:00pm) Our client in Hudson, Wisconsin, is looking for a Scrap Cutter to join their team on a temporary basis. The Scrap Cutter safely operates a guillotine, a heavy-duty industrial cutting machine, with straight, vertical-dropping blades to trim paper, cardboard, plastic, or sheet metal to exact specifications.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate the guillotine or paper cutting machine to cut large volumes of product. Load raw materials onto the machine, ensuring proper placement for efficient cutting operations. Monitor the cutting process closely, making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and precision Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow strict safety protocols, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensure machine guards function properly.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Basic reading, writing, and communication skills required. Minimum one year of industrial or manufacturing experience preferred. Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8-12 hours per shift. Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork. Interested in this opportunity?
