Overview The Operations Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt, inspection, processing, and documentation of patient monitoring devices returned to Millstone from healthcare providers. This is a production and assembly-line position that involves performing repetitive tasks and movements throughout the workday while maintaining consistent productivity, accuracy, and quality. The position requires the ability to work in a structured, fast-paced production environment and to repeatedly perform standardized processes, including opening packages, inspecting and handling devices, sorting materials, entering information, and preparing products for the next stage of processing. The Operations Specialist must be able to maintain focus and attention to detail while performing repetitive work for extended periods. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with computer systems, and able to perform repetitive physical and computer-based tasks with a high degree of accuracy. The employee must consistently follow established procedures, quality standards, and confidentiality requirements when handling patient-related information and medical devices. II. Job Specific Competencies Principal Responsibilities and Duties Receive and process incoming shipments of returned patient monitoring devices. Perform repetitive production-line tasks according to established procedures and work instructions. Open packages and inspect returned devices and contents for completeness, condition, and required components. Repeatedly handle, sort, move, disassemble, and process devices and materials as part of the receiving and processing workflow. Maintain a consistent pace and level of productivity while performing repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Accurately enter product and patient-related information into company computer systems. Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the receiving and processing process. Identify discrepancies, missing components, damaged materials, or other issues and notify the appropriate personnel. Follow standardized processes, quality requirements, safety procedures, and work instructions. Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information in accordance with company policies. Perform repetitive movements involving the hands, wrists, arms, and upper body as required to complete production and processing tasks. Maintain an organized and clean work area to support an efficient production workflow. Work effectively as part of a production team and communicate issues or workflow concerns to supervisors and coworkers. Perform other production, processing, and operational duties as assigned. Frequent use of hands for sorting and handling small components. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Repetitive hand movements and keyboard/ mouse/scanner use throughout the shift. Good visual acuity for reading labels and entering data accurately.
