Metrologist Position Overview Advanced metrology specialist responsible for large-volume measurement and inspection activities supporting manufacturing, assembly, and quality assurance operations. Key Responsibilities Perform large-volume measurements using laser trackers and precision metrology equipment. Operate and configure measurement systems using Spatial Analyzer (SA). Establish and maintain Unified Spatial Metrology Networks (USMNs).

Conduct:

Best-fit alignments Nominal-to-actual comparisons Geometric analyses Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements. Execute measurement procedures and work instructions. Verify calibration and health of metrology equipment. Support manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams. Generate measurement reports and communicate results. Maintain metrology equipment and support process improvements.

Required Qualifications Extensive experience with:

Laser Trackers Spatial Analyzer (SA) Large Volume Metrology Strong understanding of: GD&T Dimensional Inspection Manufacturing Assembly Verification Experience supporting aerospace or high-precision manufacturing preferred.
