• •Job Description•This role focuses on manufacturing a variety of French catheters in a clean room environment, performing detailed manual assembly, visual inspection, and final packaging of medical devices.

You will work with small components, specialized tools, and microscopes to build both simple and complex catheter assemblies while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

• Responsibilities
• + Perform manual assembly of French catheters, including braiding, stretching, pulling, and stringing catheter components by hand.

+ Complete multiple build stages for complex catheters, following detailed work instructions and documented procedures.

+ Operate in a clean room environment, adhering to all gowning and cleanliness protocols, including wearing smocks, hair nets, and protective glasses.

+ Use small hand tools such as tweezers, cutters, pliers, and other basic tools to assemble catheter components and guidewires.

+ Work under microscopes to perform precise medical device and catheter assembly, ensuring accuracy with small parts.

+ Conduct visual inspection of components and finished products to verify quality, integrity, and compliance with specifications.

+ Perform reflow processes and other production steps required for catheter manufacturing.

+ Carry out final packaging and packing of medical devices, ensuring products are properly labeled and prepared for shipment.

+ Follow work instructions and production documentation consistently to meet quality and regulatory requirements.

+ Maintain high levels of hand dexterity and manual precision throughout assembly tasks, even during repetitive work.

+ Collaborate with team members in a general production environment, supporting smooth workflow and meeting production goals.

+ Flex across different product lines and assemblies as needed, learning new processes and working in all required areas.

+ Use basic computer skills to enter production data, follow electronic work instructions, or complete other job-related tasks.

+ Support continuous improvement by learning new techniques, accepting cross-training, and adapting to evolving business needs.

+ Comply with all facility and clean room rules, including signing required documentation prior to starting work.

• Essential Skills
• + At least 6 months of medical assembly experience, preferably with catheter assemblies.

+ At least 6 months of experience using basic hand tools such as tweezers, cutters, and pliers in a production or assembly setting.

+ Demonstrated hand dexterity and comfort with manual, repetitive tasks such as braiding, stretching, and pulling small components.

+ Experience working with microscopes for assembly or inspection in a clean room or similar environment.

+ Ability and willingness to learn new processes and be cross-trained across multiple product lines and assemblies.

+ Basic computer skills for following work instructions and entering production-related information.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a collaborative production culture.

+ Comfort working in a structured clean room setting with strict gowning and cleanliness requirements.

• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Prior experience in medical device assembly, medical assembly, or clean room assembly.

+ Familiarity with visual inspection techniques and microscope assembly work.

+ Experience following detailed work instructions and production documentation in a regulated environment.

+ Willingness to work a second shift schedule (Monday-Thursday, 3:00 pm-1:30 am).

+ Openness to contract roles that may be extended depending on business needs.

+ Ability to adapt to growth and change in a rapidly expanding production facility.

• Work Environment
• You work in a full clean room environment that is well lit, temperature controlled, and designed for precision medical device manufacturing.

The facility is expanding, offering a modern and evolving production space. Clean room protocols include gowning requirements such as smocks, hair nets, and protective glasses to maintain strict cleanliness standards. The role is on second shift, Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am, with a shift differential added to the base hourly rate. The work is hands-on and repetitive, particularly during the initial training period when manual tasks such as braiding, stretching, and pulling catheters may cause temporary hand soreness that typically eases as you become fully trained. You will regularly use microscopes, small hand tools, and other equipment in a structured, team-oriented production environment.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $19.

00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
