In this entry-level position, you will gain hands-on experience in the fabrication and assembly of custom orthotic and prosthetic devices, supporting patient care and clinical teams. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals eager to develop specialized skills in a growing healthcare field. No prior experience is necessary; we provide full training to help you succeed and grow professionally. Your energetic attitude and dedication will contribute directly to improving patients' mobility and quality of life. Duties operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment for orthotic and prosthetic device creation Support the fabrication shop team in constructing custom devices according to detailed specifications Assist with the fabrication, modification, repair, and finishing of custom prosthetic and orthotic devices. Work with materials such as plastics, carbon fiber, resins, foam, metal, and other fabrication materials. Perform grinding, sanding, cutting, drilling, polishing, and finishing of prosthetic and orthotic devices. Complete assigned fabrication projects within expected timelines to support patient care and delivery schedules. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory/workshop environment. Requirements Basic measurement understanding ex. 1/4, 1/2, 1/8, 3/16 Ability to learn new skills quickly with a proactive attitude toward training opportunities Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques preferred but not required — training provided! Excellent client communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient care Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work safely within a fabrication environment
MUST BE BILINGUAL
