Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 5 years of injection molding experience in a manufacturing environment Experience operating injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment Experience with machine setups, mold changes, and process adjustments Strong understanding of molding processes, materials, equipment, and quality standards Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read work orders, process sheets, and production documentation Job Duties Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust injection molding presses Perform mold changes, machine setups, start-ups, and process adjustments Establish and maintain molding parameters for quality production Troubleshoot process issues, equipment concerns, and product defects Monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met Complete production, process, and quality documentation Communicate equipment, process, and quality concerns with team members Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Obtain and maintain forklift certification as required Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Process Molding Technician. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
