Experienced Injection Molding Machine Operator (Full Time +Day Shift)

Job Description

About Us:
We are a growing, fast-paced manufacturing facility specializing in durable, high-volume injection-molded building products and home fixtures (such as our popular polymer shower niches). Running over 500 tons of plastic material annually, our production floor relies on skilled, safety-conscious operators who take pride in keeping our presses running efficiently and our part quality high.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, Experienced Injection Mold Operator to join our team on a full-time daytime schedule. In this role, you will be responsible for operating injection molding presses, monitoring part quality, handling material, and managing day-to-day press operations during regular daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
Safely operate injection molding machines, monitor cycle times, and ensure continuous, smooth workflow.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished molded parts (checking for short shots, flash, sink marks, warpage, or surface blemishes) according to strict quality standards.
Material & Part Handling:
Safely handle resin, manage regrind/scrap material, stack, pack, and label finished products accurately.
Secondary Operations:
Perform minor trimming, assembly, or packaging of finished components as needed.
Troubleshooting:
Identify minor mechanical or processing issues and communicate them effectively to management.
Safety & Housekeeping:
Maintain a clean, safe work area and strictly adhere to all plant safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 1 to 3+ years of hands-on experience operating plastic injection molding machines in a manufacturing/production environment. (Must have real floor experience).
Technical Know-How:
Familiarity with injection molding terminology, press controls, and recognizing standard molding defects.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand during shifts, bend, reach, and lift up to 35-50 lbs regularly.
Reliability:
Strong work ethic with a proven record of punctual, dependable attendance.
Basic Skills:
Basic math and reading comprehension to follow production logs and work instructions.
Compensation & Perks:
Top-Tier Pay:
$27.00 / hour straight to your paycheck.
Full-Time Daytime Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM —enjoy your mornings, be home early every afternoon, and keep your weekends free.
Direct Pay Structure:
We keep things simple by putting more money directly into your hourly rate rather than corporate benefits, giving you the freedom to choose your own healthcare or retirement plans that best fit your life.
Pay:
From $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 6.0 per week
Work Location:
In person
