Injection Mold Operator Suntek Corporations Inc Bloomfield, CT Job Details Full-time $25.67 - $35.00 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Inspection gauge Mechanical blueprint interpretation Measurement-based inspection Grinding machine operation Injection (injection molding) Mechanical drawings Dimensional measurements Electrical discharge machining Precision measurement in machining Milling machines Manual machining Full Job Description Overview Looking for a skilled Toolmaker who is able to build and repair complex molds. This person should have experience in the Moldmaking Industry. Job requirements and responsibilities are as follows: Disassemble, debug, repair, and reassemble plastic injection molds using industry's best practices. Requires thorough knowledge of plastic injection molding, mold components and mechanisms, and strong mechanical inclination Operate tool room machinery including manual surface grinders and Bridgeport milling machines Use all inspection equipment including dial indicators, micrometers, depth gauges, gauge blocks, calipers, and shadowgraphs Must be able to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, etc. Work to .0002" tolerance and understand tolerance stacking Knowledge of CNC Milling and EDM is a plus
