Full-Time | Monday - Friday, 1st Shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Job Description Masis Staffing is currently seeking a skilled, hands-on Molding Manufacturing Technician on behalf of our client, a leading prosthetic and orthotic device company in Rocky Hill, CT. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a stable medical manufacturer through a contract-to-hire position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with materials, tools, and machinery to produce high-quality medical components that directly improve patients' lives. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor molding machinery to produce prosthetic components and medical devices Perform mold setup, changeovers, and routine preventative maintenance Mix and prepare raw materials according to precise formulation specifications Inspect finished parts for quality, consistency, and defects using calipers, gauges, and visual checks Troubleshoot basic machine errors and material flow issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA and FDA/GMP standards Accurately document production runs, material usage, and quality control data Collaborate with lead technicians and engineers to improve process efficiency Required Qualifications (Must-Haves) At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment Demonstrated experience with molding processes (injection, compression, or cast molding) Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude Reliable transportation to Rocky Hill, CT Preferred (Not Required, But a Plus) Experience in medical device, aerospace, or automotive molding Familiarity with FDA/GMP regulated environments Basic math and measurement skills (using micrometers, calipers) Compensation & Perks $19-$20/hr starting rate (based on experience) Weekly pay through Masis Staffing Contract-to-hire with permanent placement potential after 90 days Benefit eligibility upon permanent hire (medical, dental, 401k, paid time off) How to Apply If you have the required molding and manufacturing experience, Masis Staffing wants to hear from you.
