Test Operator:

Performs test equipment setup per provided instructions. Performs testing and programming per provided instructions. Performs inspection, identify component values and orientation using documentation. Assists others in analysis of problems and identification of solutions. Supports production with tester set-up and debugging, reduction of false failures and downtime of test equipment. Qualifies test fixtures, equipment, automated software and test procedures specific to customer requirements. Reviews test equipment designs, test capacity, and data regularly. Recommends and implements innovative test solutions to improve test efficiency, test coverage and product quality. Makes decisions with little or no supervision. Requires making decisions that affect other people, the financial resources, and/or the image and reputation of the organization. Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve company goals. Test Operator:

At least 1 year of experience in electronics manufacturing. Familiar with IPC 610 standards or greater. Must be able to read and understand technical/electronics procedures and notes. Must be able to recognize and identify electronics components. Must be able to read and understand printed instructions and procedures. Fundamental knowledge of computer setup and usage. General equipment testing functionality, evaluation and calibration techniques. Basic test equipment (i.e. digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, frequency meter, signal generator). Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software. Basic use of Windows based PC's and windows applications. Basic knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and their applications. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Lead and Lead Free Solder applications. Understanding of ESD.
