Injection Mold Set-Up Technician 📍 Buffalo Grove, IL 💲 $25-$40/hr Based on Experience 🌙 10% Shift Premium for Nights A growing medical device manufacturing company is seeking experienced Injection Mold Set-Up Technicians to join their team in a clean, modern, and climate-controlled production environment. Schedule Day Shift:

6:00 AM - 6:00

PM Night Shift:

6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (+10% Shift Differential) Rotating 12-hour schedule Key Responsibilities Set up, start, and monitor injection molding machines Perform mold changes and equipment changeovers Load, verify, and adjust machine parameters during startup Troubleshoot machine, process, and quality issues Monitor machine performance and product quality standards Complete material and color changes as needed Support automated and robotic manufacturing equipment Respond to machine alarms and production interruptions Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic repairs Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications Required Previous injection molding experience Experience with machine setups, mold changes, or process troubleshooting Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule Preferred Robotics or automation experience Blueprint reading skills GMP or regulated manufacturing experience Preventive maintenance experience Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) knowledge Why Join This Team? $25-$40/hr based on experience 10% additional pay for night shift Long-term contract-to-hire opportunity Consistent full-time hours with overtime potential Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility Hands-on work with advanced molding and automation technology Strong opportunities for internal growth, advancement, and skill development Stable company within the growing medical manufacturing industry If you have experience with injection molding, mold setups, machine changeovers, process optimization, or troubleshooting , we'd love to speak with you about this opportunity.
