Injection Molding Technician:

You'll be: Removing and mounting molds in injection molding machines, including connecting water cooling, hydraulic, and pneumatic core pull lines. Reading and comprehending specifications, blueprints, operating manuals, and following all instructions and written procedures. Setting up molds in various types and sizes of molding machines to produce plastic components, working from verbal and/or process guide books. Maintaining molding machine cleanliness, setting up auxiliary equipment, and performing adjustment and minor repairs under supervision. Communicating with coworkers and supervisors to ensure continuous production operation. Keeping the setup room and production floor clean and orderly. Cleaning molds daily and performing automation validations, including documentation. Supporting all company safety and quality programs and initiatives. Being available for overtime when the schedule requires. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Must have prior mold setting experience. Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Can communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrate intermediate math and literacy skills. Have vision corrected to 20/30 in both eyes. Can frequently squat to lift/move up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. Are comfortable using computers, precision measuring instruments, hand tools, movable stairs, overhead cranes, and safety equipment. Own your own tools and tool box/cart.
