Job Description

Pay:

$21.15-$25.00/hr.

Schedule:

12-hour rotating schedule with a 2-2-3 rotation

Shift Differential:

10% shift differential added to the standard hourly rate Position SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and motivated Mill Operator to join our client's manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in manufacturing or for an experienced production professional who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. The Mill Operator will be responsible for safely operating production equipment, monitoring the manufacturing process, performing quality inspections, handling materials, completing production documentation, and supporting daily production goals. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn new equipment and processes. ScheduleThis position works a 12-hour rotating schedule consisting of 2 days on, 2 days off, followed by 3 days on, with the rotation then reversing. This results in a combination of 3- and 4-day workweeks.

•Nights and weekends are part of the rotating schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work this schedule.

•Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate mill and other production equipment according to established procedures and standard work instructions.



Load and unload raw materials, components, and finished products.



Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure consistent operation and product quality.



Perform quality inspections and measurements to verify products meet established specifications.



Make basic equipment adjustments and assist with machine setup and changeovers.



Identify and report equipment, quality, production, or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.



Complete production paperwork, records, and documentation accurately and on time.



Package, label, and move finished products and materials as required.



Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S principles.



Follow all safety policies, procedures, and established work practices.



Meet daily production, quality, efficiency, and safety goals.



Work effectively with team members, supervisors, maintenance, and other departments.



Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.



Perform other manufacturing duties as needed.
