Pepperball, the leading manufacturer of less lethal weapon systems and projectiles, is looking for a molding technician to assist our injection molding department. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a strong technical background in a wide range of areas. Responsibilities will include working directly with our lead technician to troubleshoot and maintain various aspects of our injection molding processes and equipment. This position has potential, and may require, crossover into our automation assembly equipment. Therefore the ideal candidate will have thorough and technical understanding of manufacturing processes specific to injection molding of raw components as well as fully automated, PLC driven assembly machines. Ideal candidate will have the following skills: Skillset

• Familiarity with injection molding machines and processes.
• Strong mechanical skills and the ability to use shop tools and equipment.
• Able to use measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
• Basic machining skills using lathes and mills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledgeable on automation principles such as robots, sensors, vibratory feeders, etc.
• Communicate effectively with other engineers, production staff, and outside vendors.
• At a minimum a basic understanding of electrical circuits and electronics troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with plant infrastructure systems such as air compressors and water chillers.

Must be able to troubleshoot and do emergency repairs / maintenance.

Education / Experience

• Five years of experience in applicable area
• Basic computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. Additional Qualifications
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
• Able to stand / walk for majority of day
• Legally authorized to work for any US employer

Pay:

$73,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
