Production Manager or Shift Supervisor

POSITION OVERVIEW

The operators primary responsibility is to insure their assigned production line is producing product that meets all QA criteria. Position also includes molding changes, set-up and process troubleshooting of both blow molding and injection molding and secondary equipment. Secondary responsibilities will be machine preventative maintenance as well as assisting maintenance department in machinery maintenance and ancillary machinery setup. The candidate must possess the ability to work in a team environment and the willingness to be cross-functional. Valuable skills for this position include excellent attention to detail, basic math skills, and good interpersonal communication skills.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

? Mold setup and processing ? Quality checks ? Minimize equipment downtime ? Perform set up of jobs to meet daily production schedule ? Troubleshoot molding machines and ancillary equipment ? Assisting Processing Engineer with duties as needs arise ? All other tasks as assigned by Manager or Supervisor

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

? Minimum five years hands-on experience as an injection molding and/or blow molding Process Technician ? Experience with material handling equipment, conveying, grinding ? Experience with quality checks a plus ? Strong Technical Knowledge of molding presses ? Proven ability to work from blueprints and schematics a plus Midwest Blow Molding LLC is an AAE/EEO employer
