You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot equipment and ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Execute independent mold and cell setups for injection and blow molding machinery to meet production schedules. Perform proactive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting on molding machines, automation handling systems, and auxiliary equipment like chillers and resin dryers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operators and engineering staff, to resolve processing challenges and minimize downtime. Monitor and adjust temperature control units and mold controllers to maintain strict process parameters. Utilize precision measurement tools to verify product quality and ensure adherence to manufacturing specifications. Document corrective actions and process changes to support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Required Skills Associate degree or equivalent technical certification. Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a plastics manufacturing environment. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities and effective communication skills. Preferred Skills Direct experience with injection molding and blow molding processes. Familiarity with EOAT (End of Arm Tooling) and automated material handling systems. Experience using multimeters and tensiometers for equipment diagnostics.
