WGI MRO Services is looking for an experienced Manual Lathe Operator / Machinist to join our aerospace repair team. As an FAA Part 145 certified repair station, we restore commercial and military aircraft engine components. Our work is high-mix and varying-volume. Each component brings a different repair or machining challenge. We're looking for someone with a strong manual machining background who can work independently, adapt to different jobs, and learn our aerospace repair processes. What you'll bring At least two years of hands-on manual lathe experience. Experience with manual engine lathes. Hardinge lathe experience preferred. Ability to machine precision components to close tolerances. Experience using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, repair manuals, and work instructions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Dependability, attention to detail, and pride in producing quality work. Aerospace, medical, defense, tool and die, or other precision manufacturing experience is preferred. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment. ProtoTRAK lathe experience is a plus. What you'll do Set up and operate manual engine lathes and small Hardinge lathes. Operate ProtoTRAK lathes as needed to support the work. Machine and repair precision aerospace engine components to specifications. Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for different jobs and materials. Make independent setups and machining adjustments as required. Verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment. Complete production and quality documentation accurately. Work with Engineering, Quality, and Production to resolve machining challenges. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Pay:

$28.00 - $36.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
