+ Benefits We're looking for an experienced restoration professional who wants more than another technician job. Total Restoration is a growing, locally owned restoration company and part of Dash Group, a broader home-services company spanning restoration, drains, plumbing, and HVAC. We're building for the long term and looking for someone who wants to grow with us. This is a hands-on field role. We are not looking for someone who simply manages crews. We want someone who can show up to a water loss, assess the situation, set up the job correctly, and then work alongside the team to get it done. You should be comfortable being the first person on site and taking a mitigation job from initial assessment through dry-out and completion. What You'll Do Respond to water, fire, mold, sewage and other property-loss calls Assess the loss and determine what needs to happen Set up mitigation jobs from start to finish — containment, extraction, equipment placement, demolition and drying Perform the actual mitigation and restoration work alongside the team Take moisture readings, monitor drying progress and adjust equipment as necessary Properly document jobs with photos, readings and job notes Communicate directly with homeowners, property managers and commercial customers Lead by example and help newer technicians get better Keep jobs organized, clean and moving Take ownership of the job from the first call through completion Who We're Looking For You know restoration and you're comfortable doing the work. You can walk into a loss without needing someone to tell you every next step. You know how to set up a job correctly, communicate with the customer, grab the equipment and tools, and get to work. Ideally, you have: 2+ years of hands-on water mitigation/restoration experience The ability to independently set up and run a water mitigation job Strong knowledge of extraction, containment, demolition, drying and equipment Experience with moisture readings and job documentation The ability to lead others while still working alongside them Strong customer communication skills A reliable, get-it-done mentality IICRC certifications are a plus, but they're not everything. If you know the work and have the right attitude, we'll invest in additional training and certifications. Why Total Restoration? We're not looking to fill a seat.
