Anticipated based on workload Position Summary A well-established manufacturer in Clarkston, MI is seeking an experienced Manual Bridgeport Mill Operator to join its manufacturing team. This is an immediate opening for a skilled machinist who is comfortable setting up and operating a manual Bridgeport mill and performing precision machining work. The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work accurately from measurements, blueprints, and specifications. K ey Responsibilities Set up and operate a manual Bridgeport milling machine Perform milling, drilling, boring, and other manual machining operations Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Accurately measure and inspect machined parts Select appropriate tooling and make necessary machine adjustments Maintain required dimensions and tolerances Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy Troubleshoot basic machining and equipment issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety and quality procedures Assist with additional machining and manufacturing duties as needed Qualifications Previous manual Bridgeport mill experience required Experience setting up and operating manual milling equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficient with precision measuring tools Strong understanding of machining processes and tolerances Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic Willingness to work overtime as needed Compensation & Schedule $ 19-$25/hour, depending on experience Potential flexibility for highly experienced candidates Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-2:30 PM Overtime anticipated Full-time, first-shift position Immediate Opening This is an immediate hiring need .
