$20 Job Summary We are hiring an experienced Mold Setter to join our client's manufacturing team in Greensboro. In this role, you will set up and change plastic injection molds, start production runs, inspect part quality, troubleshoot molding issues, and help keep production running efficiently. Job Duties Install and remove plastic injection molds safely. Set up injection molding machines for production. Start machines and verify parts meet quality standards. Inspect parts throughout production and make adjustments as needed. Troubleshoot common molding defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks, and splay. Read and follow work orders and production instructions. Record production information including cycle times, setup times, and scrap. Shut down machines safely for mold changes. Work with teammates to solve production issues. Communicate production updates during shift changes. Cover machine operation during team member breaks when needed. Perform mold setups from start to finish, including troubleshooting. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. At least 2 years of experience as a Mold Setter in an injection molding environment. Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools. Knowledge of injection molding processes, machine settings, and quality standards. Experience working with hydraulic systems. Familiarity with thermoplastic materials and molding equipment such as robots, dryers, hoppers, and hot runner controllers. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift. Must follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. #
