El tornero fresador es responsable de operar tornos y fresadoras ( CONVENCIONALES) para fabricar o modificar piezas mecánicas según especificaciones técnicas. Su labor implica la interpretación de planos, la selección de herramientas adecuadas, el ajuste de parámetros de corte y el control de calidad del producto final. Debe garantizar la precisión dimensional, el acabado superficial y el cumplimiento de los estándares de seguridad en todo momento.

Responsabilidades clave:

Leer e interpretar planos técnicos y órdenes de trabajo. Operar tornos y fresadoras para mecanizar piezas metálicas. Realizar ajustes y calibraciones en las máquinas. Verificar medidas con instrumentos de precisión (micrómetros, calibradores, comparadores, etc.). Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y segura. Detectar fallos en piezas o en el funcionamiento de la maquinaria.

Requisitos:

Experiencia previa como tornero fresador. Conocimiento en máquinas convencionales y, preferiblemente, CNC. Capacidad para trabajar con precisión y atención al detalle. Formación técnica en mecanizado o similar. A lathe and milling machine operator is responsible for operating (conventional) lathes and milling machines to manufacture or modify mechanical parts according to technical specifications. The role involves interpreting blueprints, selecting appropriate tools, adjusting cutting parameters, and performing quality control on the final product. The operator must ensure dimensional accuracy, proper surface finish, and compliance with safety standards at all times.

Key responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical blueprints and work orders. Operate lathes and milling machines to machine metal parts. Perform adjustments and calibrations on the machines. Verify measurements using precision instruments (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc.). Maintain a clean and safe work area. Identify defects in parts or malfunctions in the machinery.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a lathe and milling machine operator. Knowledge of conventional machines and, preferably, CNC machines. Ability to work with precision and attention to detail. Technical training in machining or a related field.
