Candidates for this position are responsible for mixing ingredients together in such a way that the resulting product is consistent and tastes good. The successful candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work on their feet for at least eight hours per day. Full Job Description The Mixer is responsible for operating mixing equipment to make the perfect cream mixtures required to accomplish the customer specification and precise recipe fulfillment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Operates mixing equipment independently, as well as within a team environment. Responsible for signing out mixing kit. Applies and follows the startup and shutdown procedure for safety and productivity reasons. Visually inspects scaled ingredients and keeps area properly stocked. Retrieves and replenishes supplies for the mixing operations. Loads ingredients automatically and strictly follows-up on the recipe directions step by step in order to mix the perfect cream mixture required to avoid waste and downtime through all processes. Loads minor ingredients in accordance with recipe into the mixing machines. Visually verifies the scrap conveyor and scale to remix the approved weight according to the recipe. Inspects cream mixture temperature to be in compliance with cream specifications and to ensure the cream is ready to be dumped into troughs. Synchronizes each mixed batch to maintain consistent cream being fed into the line. Responsible for verifying batch number and document. Works closely with Line Operator to keep the mixer running to avoid downtime, or stop the mixers when other equipment has had a breakdown. Records and reports all information about the dough completed onto the Production Control Form, including the scaling subassembly batch label. Scales minor ingredients when necessary, such as oil, crumbled yeast, etc. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Informs Mixing supervisor or Production Superintendent of any problems or complications that may arise. Ability to follow all safety policies and work in a safe manner. Contributes to the continuous improvement culture. Attends company scheduled meetings when applicable (i.e., safety meetings, production meetings, department meetings). Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required Must follow all GMP rules and policies Follow all policies and procedures when it comes to quality of our products and services

Schedule:

Monday - Friday & Saturday when production is needed

Pay Rate:

$17.00 per hour
