Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Plastic Molding Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining various plastic molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. Responsibilities Set up and operate plastic molding machines, including plastics injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, and other related equipment Monitor machine operation throughout production runs, adjusting parameters as needed to ensure optimal output Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurements to verify product specifications Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery such as CNC lathes, press brake machines, robotic systems, and other industrial equipment Handle materials safely and efficiently using hand tools, forklifts, and materials handling equipment Document production data accurately and maintain detailed records of machine performance and quality checks Follow safety protocols rigorously to maintain a safe working environment for all team members Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues promptly Assist in assembly processes when required, ensuring components meet quality standards Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on machine performance and process efficiencies Requirements Proven experience operating plastic molding machinery such as injection molding machines, blow molding equipment, or extrusion lines Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and maintenance Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC systems, robotic automation, and press brake machines Ability to perform precision measurement in machining and quality control using measurement instruments Knowledge of plastics production processes including plastics injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, and plastics extrusion techniques Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is preferred Basic math skills for setting up machines and measuring parts accurately Understanding of safety protocols related to manufacturing environments Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot engineering or industrial equipment issues efficiently Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting If you are committed to precision manufacturing excellence and eager to contribute your technical expertise in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply today.
