Mold Maker Assistant Job Duties:

Perform maintenance and repair on molds Build new projects with limited guidance Ability to analyze and repair simple to complex tools in close collaboration with manager Effective use of mold making equipment (knee mill, surface grinders, lathe, fork lift) Able to effectively lead a repair project requiring planning and resource allocation Able to repair with minimal guidance and oversight Disassemble and re-assemble tooling to verify dimensions Maintain the work area through good housekeeping and safety practices TS16949 Quality system familiarity Other related tasks as assigned

Skills/qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Minimum 5 years' experience working in mold repair/building environment Experience with mold making tools and equipment Applicant will be capable of reading blueprints, evaluating dimensional information, using measuring equipment to verify accuracy such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc. Applicant will be responsible for producing accurate mechanical details from various types of machinery used in the building of jigs, and molds Demonstrates a very high level of mechanical experience. Self-Starter Works well in team environment. Must have clean background and pass drug screen. Prefer some level of experience with the following :

• CAD
• CAM
• CNC
