Job Description

Job Overview Join our Farm team as a Feed Mill Operator and Non-CDL Driver, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our feed manufacturing process. This energetic position combines hands-on machine operation, material handling, and safe transportation of products. You'll be at the forefront of producing high-quality feed products, animal agricultural and maintaining a safe, productive environment. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will help keep operations running smoothly while adhering to strict safety standards. Duties Operate milling equipment and machinery to process raw materials into finished feed products efficiently and accurately Handle grain and other raw materials and with material handling equipment such as forklifts and conveyors Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Safely transport ingredients, finished products, and supplies using non-CDL trucks Communicate with animal caretakers to time appropriate delivery of feed. Assist with grain handling, storage, and inventory management to maintain accurate stock levels Support manufacturing processes by performing quality checks, basic math calculations for batching, and troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed Experience Prior experience in driving Truck and trailer is highly desirable Background in agriculture or farming enhances understanding of materials and production cycles Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation, maintenance, or repair is a strong plus Experience with material handling equipment such as forklifts or grain augers is preferred Basic math skills for measurements, batching, and inventory tracking are essential Previous commercial driving experience with vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed Join us to be part of a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment where your skills contribute directly to feeding communities and supporting agricultural industries. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 55.0 per week
