You support our team as a Injection Molding Machine Lead Operator (2nd shift) Responsibilities The Injection Molding Machine Lead Operator works with a variety of production and auxiliary equipment used to manufacture plastic or rubber components at our Troy, Ohio facility. The Injection Molding Machine Lead Operator ensures adherence to company standards for safety, clean environment, quality, and productivity in order to meet customer requirements. Operates and monitors equipment used in the production process. Responsible for the line performance regarding output and uptime. Ensures production processes remain compliant with Quality Policies and initiates appropriate measures in case of deviations. Cleans and maintains machines and equipment. Digitally documents process and quality data. Maintains 5S in assigned work area. Qualifications High school diploma, technical certification, vocational training, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum four (4) years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Minimum two (2) years of experience operating Injection Molding Machines (Hydraulic, Electric, Vertical, etc.). Minimum two (2) years of experience working with Mold and Tooling Equipment (injection molds, mold temperature controllers, Mold heaters and chillers, etc.). Minimum two (2) years of experience working with measuring and inspection tools (Calipers, Micrometers, etc.). Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including lifting up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and standing for extended periods during the workday. Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and job-related documentation. Availability to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
