Summary The Plasma Table/Plate Roll Operator will be responsible for using work orders, reading prints and adjusting a Roundo roll machine/Hypertherm Plasma Table to roll/cut varying types of steel and thicknesses per customer specifications. This is a backup position where you will learn with the current operators of this equipment to fill in and eventually replace them as they retire. We are willing to train for this position.

Primary Responsibility:

Operate our Roundo roll machine to roll metal plates, sheets, or bars into arcs, cylinders, or cones, using drawings, templates, and knowledge of geometry and physical properties of metal to set up machine and plan sequence of operations Perform layout work required for the rolling and forming of cylindrical parts and components Operate our Hypertherm Plasma Table to work with DXF files and program the machine directly to cut parts per customer requirements Perform and document QA/QC checks Safe and efficient operation and maintenance of roll machinery, plasma table, cranes and forklifts

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform Primary Responsibilities within a reasonable timeframe, operate all associated equipment in a safe manner and follow all company guidelines and procedures for processing and completing orders.
