In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molding equipment to ensure efficient production of high-quality plastic parts. Your expertise in machine operation, tooling adjustments, and safety protocols will drive our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced industrial equipment and contribute to innovative plastics manufacturing processes. Duties Set up and calibrate injection molding machines, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), to meet production specifications. Install, align, and adjust molds Troubleshoot mechanical issues with injection molding machinery and auxiliary devices to minimize downtime. Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling materials, operating forklifts, and managing warehouse or materials handling tasks. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and assist with engineering troubleshooting for complex industrial equipment problems. Document setup procedures, process parameters, and inspection results accurately for quality control records. Qualifications Proven experience in plastics injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, or related plastics production environments. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on skills in machine operation, machining, and assembly processes Ability to perform precision measurement in machining and quality control using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. Knowledge of safety protocols related to industrial equipment operation and materials handling procedures. Basic math skills for setting machine parameters and interpreting technical drawings or specifications. Warehouse experience or forklift certification is a plus for materials movement tasks.
