Job Summary:

Cylindrical Grinder Operator Join us at Superior Forge & Steel. The Grinder Operator is a member of our Machining Department responsible for operating a grinding machine to finish our forged rolls to customer specifications. Based on experience, earn up to $30+ per hour for a starting wage!! $1,000 SIGN

Employee Referral Program Responsibilities:

Set up and operation of grinder Reviewing and interpreting blueprints Grinding rolls to blueprint specification Preventative maintenance Keep complete and accurate production records Verify work assignments Maintain production requirements and specified tolerances Perform other department duties, as assigned

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:

Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs occasionally throughout shift Exposed to seasonal temperature changes Manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and vibration

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required Previous machining experience required Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment and/or heavy machinery required Must be able to read/interpret blueprints Proficient in micrometers, dial indicators, etc. Good math skills Strong attention to detail Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills Verifiable employment history Must be able to pass criminal background check, drug screen and physical.
