Hot Mill Operator General Duties:

Support and Learn the Functions of the Melt Deck, Floor or Caster Line as needed Work with Ladleman to build and use Ladles and eventually molten metal crane Inventory and Quality Checks of Materials prior to charging furnaces Assist and learn how to Build Ladles, Tundishes and Furnaces Operate Furnaces, VOD and Caster Work the Ingot Pouring Line Work the Caster Shear Line Build and Install Caster Molds Perform a variety of duties around molten and/or hot metal Perform a variety of duties that require excellent mechanical aptitude The ability to stay focused on
