Fehrer Set Up Mold Operator Summary:

Sets up molds for mold changes, cleans molds when needed, and fills in and helps on the production floor where needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify and report any mold damage or issues to the supervisor. Track mold cleanings on log sheets. Prepare molds for storage on racks, or shipment back to warehouse. Clean and prep (wax) molds for production to run. Additional duties as needed and assigned.

Experience:

Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing maintenance. The individual will be responsible for leading maintenance systems, overseeing the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and executing long term strategic plans. Must be self-motivated and possess well developed leadership skills. High school diploma or

GED Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions and required documents. Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instruction and basic directions. Ability to read and comprehend a production schedule to prepare for upcoming mold changes Ability to read and interpret work instructions/general production information written and communicated in

English Mathematical Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics. Basic math skills

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve problems as the arise. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
