In this vital role, you will operate commercial trucks equipped with concrete mixers to deliver and pour concrete at various construction sites, ensuring timely and efficient project progress. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, adherence to safety regulations, and mechanical knowledge will contribute significantly to the successful completion of civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with concrete mixers, ensuring proper handling and delivery of concrete materials. Maintain and perform routine inspections on construction machinery, including concrete mixers, paving equipment, loaders, and screeds. Transport concrete, asphalt, bituminous materials, and other construction supplies to designated sites following DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Assist with the setup and operation of paving equipment, screeds, concrete pumping systems, and rebar installation tools as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently on construction sites, including adherence to safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and concrete pouring procedures. Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, volume estimations, and material mixing ratios to ensure accurate deliveries. Collaborate with site supervisors and crew members during paving, concrete forming, and asphalt paving activities to ensure quality standards are met. Requirements Proven experience operating commercial vehicles and heavy construction equipment in civil infrastructure projects. Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Familiarity with concrete mixing processes, concrete pumping systems, rebar installation, and asphalt paving techniques. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and material quantities. Knowledge of safety regulations including DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and site-specific safety protocols. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations is essential.
