Job Description

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Finishing Operators and Mold Operators for a manufacturing client in Winchester, TN. This is a Temp/Contract job. ! Duties for the Finishing Operator position include: Operate trim machines, trim presses, and saws safely and efficiently Cut, shape, and finish materials such as plastic, metal, composite, or printed matter Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met Monitor machine performance and report equipment issues as needed Maintain production pace while ensuring accuracy and consistency Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and policies Assist other operators and production personnel as needed Duties for the Mold Operator Position include: Set up and operate molding machines according to production schedules and specifications Operate injection, compression, or blow molding equipment safely and efficiently Ensure molds are correctly installed and materials are accurately measured Adjust machine settings such as temperature, pressure, and cycle times to maintain product quality Monitor machine operation and inspect finished parts for defects or inconsistencies Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance on equipment as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines Assist other operators and production personnel as needed Compensation (USD): $13.64/hour - $15.11/hour
Schedule:
1st Shift Monday - Friday Some Overtime Expected Successful candidates must meet the following requirements: Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines Willingness to work overtime or varying shifts if required
