KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with mold installation and auxiliary equipment setup for production runs using hydraulic lifts, overhead cranes, and other specialized tools according to controlled procedures. Follow and enforce Lock Out/Tag Out procedures to ensure safety during machine setup. Perform basic startup and minor process adjustments on injection molding machines. Assist with preventive maintenance tasks for molds and injection molding machines. Monitor machine operations to detect issues and report to appropriate personnel. Maintain organization of molds and auxiliary equipment, ensuring a clean and efficient workspace. Perform basic troubleshooting and support the resolution of mechanical or material issues. Support production supervisors in molding floor activities and machine-related duties. Maintain compliance with company safety standards and operating procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

High School Diploma or G.E.D. strongly preferred. Minimum of six months experience in injection molding and/or equivalent experience or ability. Knowledge of basic mechanical systems and tools. Experience with forklifts, hydraulic lifts, or cranes preferred, certifications a plus. Familiarity with injection molding machines and basic equipment operations. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects with various priorities simultaneously with success. Safety-minded with high level of urgency to provide World Class results for DuraPlas, Inc. Ability to demonstrate reliability, accuracy, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish), highly desired Work Environment Manufacturing plant environment ( not climate controlled ) Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and odors Frequent standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift Fast-paced production with occasional unscheduled interruptions
