Lead Restoration Technician and PM (Hybrid) - Water, Mold, Fire, Odor RestoPros of North Houston - Tomball, TX Full-Time | Field-Based | Rotating On-Call RestoPros of North Houston is rapidly expanding and seeking an experienced Lead Restoration Technician to handle water, mold, fire, smoke, and odor damage projects. This is a role for a motivated, skilled technician who can manage jobs, communicate with customers, lead teams and deliver high‑quality restoration work. Responsibilities Fully responsible for Emergency and TPA response, including accepting calls and dispatching Conduct water/mold/hvac/attic assessments, moisture mapping, sketching, and documentation Communicate clearly with customers, adjusters, and insurance representatives Sell and secure signed documentation (work authorization, COS, etc.) Lead emergency response for water, mold, fire, smoke, and storm damage Perform mitigation, structural drying, mold remediation, smoke/soot cleanup, odor removal, and bio/trauma services Build air tight containments, perform controlled demolition, and operate restoration equipment Detailed cleaning and sanitizing of structures and contents using industry-standard methods, includes sanding of framing material, HEPA Vacuuming, spray, wipe, encapsulation, duct cleaning Maintain strict safety protocols, PPE use, and respiratory protection Supervise and train junior technicians, temps and helpers Maintain truck, tools, equipment, and warehouse organization Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule (evenings, weekends, holidays) Requirements 2+ years experience in water, mold, fire, and odor restoration Experience with TPA guidelines and processes TDLR Mold Worker license and IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, OCT) highly desired Experience with MICA/Mitigate/Encircle is a must Comfortable with overtime and emergency response Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to lift 50-80 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, confined spaces, and elevated areas and with Cat 3 material Strong knowledge of mitigation, demolition, and construction-related tasks Xactimate experience is a plus Valid driver's license and clean driving record Who Thrives Here Dependable, accountable, and able to work independently Solutions-first mindset, can-do spirit Team-oriented with a growth mentality High energy and pride in delivering 5‑star service Strong communicator Compensation & Benefits $18-$21/hr (based on hours actually worked) Guaranteed 40 hours per month 1% commission on all jobs you sell on your own 2% Commission on all jobs you source and sell 2.5% Commission on all jobs you source, sell and estimate in Xactimate Tuition Reimbursement and Training Significant growth potential in a fast-growing company Long-term stability and advancement opportunities Apply Today If you're an experienced restoration technician ready to lead, grow, and make an impact, we want to meet you.
