Lead Technicians who run profitable, efficient jobs, maintain excellent documentation, take care of customers, and lead their crews effectively can earn significantly more through our performance bonus program and overtime. IICRC WRT and AMRT certifications are required to maintain the $26/hour Lead Technician base rate. We will consider the right experienced candidate who does not currently hold both certifications and guarantee the $26/hour starting rate. Both certifications must be obtained within 6 months of employment to maintain that rate. When homes flood, pipes burst, sewage backs up, or mold impacts a property, our team steps in to solve the problem and help our customers put their homes and businesses back together. We are looking for a dependable Lead Restoration Technician who can take ownership of projects, lead a crew, communicate with customers, and deliver high-quality work without needing constant supervision. This isn't simply a technician position. We need someone we can trust to take a truck, a crew, and a project and get the job done correctly. What You'll Do Independently lead mitigation and remediation projects Direct and work alongside mitigation technicians Perform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, drying, and microbial remediation Establish containment and appropriate environmental controls Set and monitor drying and air-filtration equipment Take and document moisture readings Maintain accurate drying logs, equipment records, notes, and job photographs Communicate project status and concerns with customers and the office Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and job sites Identify changes in scope and communicate them before proceeding Help train and develop newer technicians Participate in emergency and after-hours response when required Requirements Restoration/mitigation experience Experience independently running restoration projects or leading crews IICRC WRT and AMRT preferred at hire and required within 6 months Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required Strong communication and customer-service skills Strong job documentation and attention to detail Ability to use mobile apps and restoration documentation software Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and physically demanding environments Willingness to perform water, mold, sewage, fire, biohazard, demolition, and difficult cleanup work Ability to reliably report to work and communicate with management and team members Growth & Development We're building a company, not just filling a truck.
