PK Wood Pellet LLC is establishing a wood pellet manufacturing facility in Wells River, Vermont, designed to transform local low-value wood byproducts into premium heating fuel for residential and commercial wood pellet heating systems. Our operation will create a circular economy by converting sawmill waste that would otherwise be disposal problems for local sawmills into clean, renewable energy pellets.

Job Summary:

As a Pellet Mill Operator you will operate and maintain all functions related to the operational plant activities ensuring optimal feed rates, adjusting rolls/dies, monitoring pellet quality to meet company standards, assisting in conducting QA testing, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, receiving of incoming materials, movement of raw materials, and maintaining a clean work environment.

SHIFT POSITIONS

Available•Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays off

Day Shift:

6 am•6 pm (Monday•Thursday 12 hours per day)

Night Shift:

6 pm to 6 am, (Monday-Thursday 12 hours per day)

Salary:

$18/22hr.+ $2.00/hr. shift differential

WEEKEND SHIFT POSITION DETAILS

•Work 36 hrs. get paid for 40 hrs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintain an extremely clean and safe working environment following all company policies and job safety procedures Mill Operation Dryer Operation Quality Assurance Checks Operate bucket loader, and forklift Receive incoming raw materials Manage and maintain wood chip inventory Perform indoor and outdoor maintenance Routinely clean mill to help support other shifts Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Follow all company safety policies Works well independently and with others Good communication skills Organized with attention to detail Strong work ethics, good judgment, and decision-making skills Experience operating bucket loader but willing to train the right candidate Experience operating a forklift but willing to train the right candidate

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred

Physical Requirements:

Climbing up and down from cab heights with ease Occasional lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 50 pounds Continuous walking or standing Climbing ladders and working in elevated positions following company safety procedures Bending, squatting, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting items above the shoulders

Pay:

$18.00•$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
