Corona, CA $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (DOE) Full-Time Join Our Team FST Sand & Gravel is seeking motivated, safety-conscious individuals to join our aggregate and mining operations as a Plant Operator / Plant Laborer . This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced quarry environment where employees play a critical role in producing high-quality construction aggregates used throughout Southern California. Pay is based on experience, skills, equipment knowledge, and plant operations experience. Responsibilities Plant Operator Duties Operate crushing, screening, washing, and conveying equipment. Monitor plant performance and adjust settings to maintain production goals. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance. Troubleshoot plant issues and communicate repairs needed. Maintain production records and daily operating logs. Follow all MSHA, OSHA, and company safety requirements. Plant Laborer Duties Assist with plant cleanup and housekeeping. Shovel, rake, and remove material buildup around equipment. Assist mechanics and operators during repairs and maintenance. Perform general labor duties throughout the quarry and processing plant. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow all safety rules and procedures. Qualifications Previous aggregate, mining, construction, asphalt, concrete, recycling, or industrial plant experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude is strongly preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Reliable transportation and strong attendance record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Safety-focused mindset. Preferred Experience Aggregate plant operations Crusher and screening plant experience Heavy equipment operation Loader, excavator, or skid steer experience Preventive maintenance experience MSHA training (preferred but not required) Benefits Competitive hourly pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with 3% company contribution Paid Time Off How to
