Description In this role, reporting directly to the Rotating Equipment Supervisor and based near our field operations in Walden, Colorado. This role prioritizes individual safety and requires adherence to established company safety practices and policies in all work activities. It is vital for maintaining the reliable operation of gas-fired reciprocating equipment and generators, ensuring proper gas flow and power generation. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, committed to safety and quality, experienced in heavy industry, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Responsibilities
Engine Maintenance and Repair:
Perform mechanic work on 4-cycle engines, including overhauls and head jobs. Conduct stationary engine work.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot equipment issues.
Gas Equipment Operations and Maintenance:
Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of gas-fired reciprocating equipment.
Generator Maintenance and Operation:
Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and operating generators.
Equipment Operation and Monitoring:
Follow a schedule provided by engineers or production supervisors to operate engines, generators, and auxiliary equipment to ensure appropriate gas flow and power generation. Adjust controls and valves, regulate pressures, and monitor meters.
Data Recording and Analysis:
Maintain records of meter and gauge readings to determine temperature, amounts of gas received and dispensed, pressure, and consumption rate variations.
Equipment Inspection:
Perform equipment inspections during outages or repairs, including field visits where necessary. Qualifications

Familiarity with heavy industry environments.

Able to communicate clearly and concisely. Able to interact with various workgroups (contractor, technical, management). Able to work with people at all levels in a team environment and be capable of working through difficult issues, achieving positive outcomes, while maintaining and fostering sound working relationships.
Driving and Travel Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR). Reliable transportation to travel when necessary.
Safety and Compliance:
This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$38.00 - $50.00 per hour
