Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Distribution & Collection Operator leads a team performing maintenance, repair, and installation of water distribution and sewer collection systems, with a focus on collections/sewer plumbing expertise, while ensuring safe and reliable service.

Pay:

$19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of Distribution and Collection Operators in daily field operations Install, maintain, and repair water/sewer lines, meters, and related equipment Perform line repairs, leak detection, and low-pressure troubleshooting Assist with preventative maintenance and equipment repairs Operate heavy equipment (backhoes, cranes, forklifts, dump trucks) Perform trench work, backfill, and site restoration Clean sewer lines and lift station wet wells Turn water meters on/off; install meters and meter boxes Participate in rotating on-call schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) Complete work orders and field complaint forms

Requirements:

High school diploma or

GED FDEP

Class 3 Distribution Operator License (or ability to obtain within one year) Construction experience Valid driver's license

Preferred:
