Job Description
Overview A Deepwater Operator C is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of process and utility systems, while ensuring safe and efficient production in offshore environments. Responsibilities Start up, operate, monitor, and shut down process and utility systems. Monitor and optimize process parameters (level, flow, temperature, pressure, etc.). Conduct sampling and take action based on results. Troubleshoot to optimize sales quality and delivery volume. Maintain discharge water quality within guidelines. Operate electrical/hydraulic control panels, safety devices, and Fire and Gas Systems. Submit accurate daily production reports as required by company and client. Witness third-party calibrations to verify meter factors and volumes. Prove export oil meters. Operate offshore production facilities according to customer requirements. Test, calibrate, maintain, and inspect equipment. Complete mandatory paperwork required by customers and government agencies. Coordinate logistics for the facility. Handle chemical treatment processes. Facilitate maintenance operations by applying/removing isolations as needed. Operate under the Permit to Work (PTW) system, conduct Toolbox Talks, and perform Risk Assessments. Advise maintenance personnel on plant and equipment hazards. Maintain clear communication during maintenance operations. Supervise activities of vendors and subcontractors. Foster effective working relationships and a positive work culture. Qualifications High School Diploma required. 1-2 years of offshore experience. Proficiency with Permit to Work processes. Medically fit for offshore work per international standards (e.g., ENG1 or equivalent).
