Job Description

Datalinx Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to lead and develop our growing low-voltage field team throughout New Mexico. This position is for a strong field leader who understands that success is about more than technical ability. We are looking for someone who loves developing people, building strong teams, planning ahead, maintaining high standards, and helping Lead Technicians successfully complete projects. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop Lead Technicians and field personnel. Oversee multiple low-voltage projects and crews across multiple locations. Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, schedule, manpower, materials, and overall project progress. Help Lead Technicians develop weekly plans, production goals, and manpower needs. Ensure teams understand and follow project drawings, specifications, and installation standards. Maintain strong quality-control standards and identify deficiencies before project closeout. Anticipate materials, tools, equipment, and field needs to keep crews productive. Identify project risks and communicate concerns immediately to Project Management and leadership. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe work practices are followed. Maintain excellent communication between the field, Project Management, and office team. Build positive client relationships and ensure Datalinx is represented professionally. Develop field employees for increased responsibility and future leadership opportunities. Promote accountability, teamwork, communication, and unity throughout the field. Qualifications 7+ years of low-voltage industry experience Experience with fire alarm, security, access control, surveillance, and structured/data cabling New Mexico Journeyman ES-3J or ES-7 license
REQUIRED
Proven experience successfully leading and developing field teams Strong ability to read and understand plans, drawings, and specifications Excellent quality-control, planning, organizational, and troubleshooting skills Strong understanding of jobsite safety Ability to oversee multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Excellent communication and client-service skills Basic programming and networking knowledge preferred NICET Level I+ preferred BICSI certification preferred Who We're Looking For We are looking for a leader and teacher—someone who brings people together, develops others, plans ahead, communicates problems early, and takes pride in delivering excellent work.
