Job Duties

• Reports to the Director of Engineering and Operations. While assigned on a Project will report to the Project Site Manager / Project Manager.
• Responsible for all the work executed with the SPMTs
• Responsible for the daily and weekly Inspections and maintenance of the SPMT
• Reports any equipment failure and do the repairs where necessary
• Leads the toolbox meeting and Job Safety Analysis for the heavy transports producing written records
• Directs the Transport Crew for set-up of SPMT Trailers and rigging installation as required by the Transport Drawings
• Directs the SPMT operations during Transports
• Trains inexperienced SPMT Operators when required.
• Directs crew for setting up Stowage equipment and/or preparation of Storage Area.
• Supervises the maintenance of the equipment assigned to the Project
• Prepares the Timesheets for the Crew assigned to him
• Participates in technical meetings with Customers as requested
• Ensures Fagioli crew attendance Health, Safety, Environment and Quality
• Ensure that all Quality, Heath, Safety and Environmental Standards are followed
• Provide guidance to employees with regard to all

• Responsible to check the availability, the accuracy and validity of certificates for lifting equipment assigned to project and that all lifting equipment has valid inspections.

Competencies Required Must be able to work independently as a team leader Must have good communication skills Able to read, understand and process site drawings, technical drawings and sketches Basic knowledge of hydraulic and electrical schematics and basic repairs Basic knowledge, understanding and proper working function of transport equipment 30-Hrs. OSHA Construction Training course 400 Hours minimum supervised operation of SPMT trailers Basic supervisory skills Must be able to understand and apply Project Procedures (Method Statements, Quality Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Environmental Plan)
