Job Description

About the Role We are hiring a hands-on Facility Operator to run day-to-day operations at our Victoria, Texas chemical handling and blending facility. This is a full-time, onsite role for someone who is comfortable working with tanks, pumps, valves, and bulk liquid transfer systems — and who takes ownership of keeping a plant safe, clean, and running efficiently. What You'll Do Operate and monitor tank farm equipment, including pumps, valves, meters, and pressure systems for bulk liquid chemicals and lubricants Perform loading and unloading of tanker trucks, ISO tanks, and totes; execute safe transfer, blending, and decanting procedures Conduct routine tank inspections, gauge readings, and inventory tracking; maintain accurate logs for inventory and regulatory compliance Support tank maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs; coordinate with contractors for larger maintenance or API 653 / SPCC-related work Execute blending and batching operations according to formulation sheets and quality standards Maintain housekeeping standards across the facility, including containment areas, spill response readiness, and general plant upkeep Follow all safety, environmental, and DOT protocols; participate in safety meetings and incident reporting Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment What You Bring 3+ years of experience in chemical plant, refinery, terminal, or bulk liquid facility operations Direct experience with tank farms, bulk liquid transfer, pumping systems, and valve manifolds Familiarity with chemical blending, batching, or lubricant manufacturing processes Working knowledge of safety and environmental standards (OSHA, EPA, DOT, SPCC) Mechanical aptitude — comfortable troubleshooting pumps, seals, and basic equipment issues Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) Strong reliability, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in outdoor conditions, and wear required PPE Nice to Have Experience with ISO tank handling or intermodal bulk liquid logistics Basic forklift / loader operation TWIC card or ability to obtain What We Offer Competitive hourly rate based on experience Health insurance contribution Company vehicle or mileage allowance for local errands Annual performance bonus tied to company and safety metrics Opportunity to grow with an expanding facility
