Responsibilities:

Make clear and legible copies of land records for the public Scan plans into Registry database thereby making clear and legible images to be viewed by the public. To meter and mail all processed recordings. To certify copies as requested. To notarize documents as requested. To provide back-up coverage for receptionist/switchboard operator. To calculate and collect copy fees; operate point-of-sale register. To assist the public with questions related to copies, location of record books, questions of a general nature regarding Registry procedures, and the use of computer terminals. All other duties as assigned.

Ability to work independently Detail oriented Excellent telephone manners Ability to stand in one place for long periods of time Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time Cognitive ability required to learn specific scanning procedures. Ability to balance several projects at a time, i.e. copying documents, scanning documents, processing mail orders, etc. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Ability to work independently Must be patient, friendly and courteous to the public

Education:

High school diploma required Some college preferred
