3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing Technician Forerunner 3D Printing is a growing advanced manufacturing company located in Coopersville, MI. We are a tight-knit team of technicians, designers, and engineers working with industrial 3D printing technology to manufacture parts for customers across automotive, aerospace, defense, consumer products, and industrial markets. 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing Technician

GENERAL STATEMENT
Entry level position operating 3D Printing machines, post processing parts, as well as general assembly of finished goods, and shipping duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
Unpacking 3D Printer builds each morning
Post Processing:
remove support from printed plastic parts (using chemicals), cut, file, sand, glue, and paint parts as needed.
Utilize post processing equipment:
hand/power tools, operate bead blasting equipment, and parts dying machine.
Light assembly:
use hand tools (taps, arbor press, snap ring tool, ect) to build up finished assemblies.
Shipping:
Utilize Project tracking software for shipping instructions, package parts securely and safely for delivery.
Cleaning:
maintain a clean workshop environment This is an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement. Successful team members may be trained in machine operation, quality inspection, equipment maintenance, and other advanced manufacturing processes as they gain experience.
SAFETY & ERGONOMICS
Proper use & storage of hazardous materials according to SDS requirements
Use PPE:
such as masks, and appropriate gloves when working in shop.
QUALITY :
Communicate & document part defects according to QMS. Meet Delivery deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Capability to stand for long periods of time Lift 50lb or more Has good mobility to be able to clean the machine in tight areas.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
Highschool Education required Experience with hand/power tools, and operating a hi-lo preferred but not required
