Job Description

Relevant Packaging/Wright Printing Co. is looking for a motivated, tech-savvy Digital Press Operator with experience operating an HP Indigo. We are seeking a craftsperson who exhibits attention to detail, a great eye for color, a dedicated attitude to quality workmanship, good attendance, and positive communication skills within the team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operate and troubleshoot digital press safely and efficiently to produce printed products that meet customer specifications. Perform make-readies for each job following company processes and procedures. Run press at optimal speed to meet production standards. Monitor and adjust color registration and other settings as needed. Clean, maintain and change components as needed. Perform regular quality checks to ensure consistent quality of final printed piece. Identify defects in the printed piece and make necessary corrections to the job. Communicate job status and production concerns with lead and/or manager. Input data accurately into computer system. Ensure all required documentation is completed. Follow all SQF and safety practices. Maintain good housekeeping. Perform other job duties as assigned. Requirements include but are not limited to: 1+ years experience operating a digital printing press, HP Indigo experience preferred. High school education or equivalent preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Exhibits excellent attendance. Strong mechanical aptitude. Able to operate pallet jacks, both electric and manual. Able to communicate effectively with management and team members. Able to establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships in a culturally diverse environment. Self-motivated and focused on scheduler and management supplied instructions. Shows a high sense of urgency for on-time completion of assigned activities. Able to read and understand a job ticket in English, both printed and on the computer system. Able to read a ruler, understand measurements, and do basic math accurately. Able to operate and navigate computer systems to document production times and notes. Able to differentiate colors. Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, climbing stairs, handling, reaching horizontally and grasping firmly (up to 12 hour shifts). Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors frequently throughout a shift: reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling and pushing (up to 12 hour shifts). Production positions require the ability to safely lift up to 50lbs, 20+ feet in distance. Able to withstand exposure to loud noises, machinery and varying temperatures. Vision correctable to 20/20 (able to pass an eye test). Willing to work in other departments or handle unique duties as needed. Availability for overtime as needed. About our

Benefits:
